From perception to shelf

A forward 202° radar pair and RGBD depth cameras build the occupancy picture; the planner re-routes around people, chair legs and glass instead of stopping; the shelves carry 40 kg and the screen works the floor while the robot moves.

D1 questions

How many trays does D1 carry?

Four open shelves at 10 kg each — 40 kg per run. The shelves detach for cleaning or can be swapped for a single large-format configuration.

Can D1 call the elevator?

Elevator integration is available through the building's elevator API or a retrofit controller. Tell us the elevator brand during planning and we scope it before deployment.

What happens when a guest blocks the path?

D1 re-plans around the obstruction and announces itself with light and voice. If the path stays blocked it waits, then returns to base and alerts staff through the dashboard.
